Márgenes, the film festival, premieres it’s sixth season this December

From december 1 until December 31 it will be held the online film festival Márgenes, wich celebrates it’s sixth season. This festival is aimed at alternative cinema and author cinema and it’s both a display and distribution platform focused on Iberoamerican cinema. Margins is an initiative that aims to make feature films and shorts quality away from the film industry conventional to accommodate all unknown products and innovative audiovisual scene.

The festival will showcase selected films online between 11 and 31 December and will show them aswell in different rooms in cities such as: Madrid, Barcelona, Cordoba, Mexico city, Santiago de Chile and Montevideo.

The festival is organized by River Events and Cultural Association Film route, with the support La Casa Encendida, the Portugal Embassy and Instituto of Camões Cooperação e da Lingua. It also has the collaboration of the Spanish Film Library, the Film Archive of Andalusia, La Casa del Cine (México DF), the Uruguayan Cinematheque (Montevideo) and the Spanish Cultural Centre in Santiago de Chile.
