25 Independent Film Festival of Barcelona

The Independent Film Festival of Barcelona, the Alternative, 25 years ago that offers to the citizens and professionals a unique opportunity to meet and enjoy projections and activities that defend the author’s creative independence, diversity, innovation, freedom and reflection.

The Alternative has two competitive sections; the feature films and the short films. It presents parallel activities with tributes, premieres, screenings of little-known cinematographic works  and family film programs. It also offers hours of free and diverse programming, screenings, performances and debates in the Hall of the CCCB.

In addition to projections, the Alternativa Actividades proposes masterclasses, debates with authors, round tables, creation workshops for children and adults, and activities of Film Schools.

This year it is celebrated from November 12 to 18.
